Dear Darling Boutique ribbon cut
By Monty Siekerman
Dear Darling Boutique opened in Ada on Friday morning with a ribbon cutting ceremony attended not by one but by two Chambers of Commerce. The Grand Opening continues Friday and Saturday.
On a beautiful Friday morning, co-owners Rayel Rose and Rachel Daley welcomed a large crowd at the ribbon cutting ceremony held by the Ada Area Chamber of Commerce and the Hardin County Chamber and Business Alliance. Lu Cooke read a Governor’s Proclamation welcoming the new business.
The ladies first opened an online store last fall, then decided to establish a business in downtown Ada “to connect with their customers.” They carry Kancan and many other lines in standard women’s sizes. They hope to add plus sizes and maternity clothing in the future. Clothing, shoes and jewelry are available.
The name of the boutique comes from Song of Solomon 4:7: “You are all together beautiful, my darling.”
Dear Darling Boutique address: 117 E. Lincoln Ave. (formerly Charter Realty). Store hours: Thursday and Friday from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Website:: ShopDearDarling.com. Facebook: ShopDearDarlingBoutique.
