Diana S. Coates, age 69, died on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at 2:46 a.m. at Lima Memorial Health System. 

          She was born on June 2, 1948 in Lima, Ohio to the late Virgil and Marian (Crites) Salsburey.  On November 28, 1970 Diana married F. Alan Coates and he died on July 21, 1993.

          Diana was a homemaker.

          She is survived by two sons: Shawn Coates of LaFayette and Tracy Coates of Syracuse, IN; a daughter, Lisa Coates of LaFayette; two grandchildren: Brady Coates and Samantha Coates; and three sisters: Betty Mikesell of Lima, Peggy Frysinger of Shawnee and Rebecca Harrod of Lima.           

          She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Salsburey.

          Memorial services will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 1, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada with Pastor Charles Moeller officiating.  Burial will be in Fisher Cemetery, LaFayette at a later date.

          Friends may call one hour prior to the service from 10:00  to 11:00 a,m. on Friday, June 1, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada.
