Marilyn Hancock was an Ada HS graduate
Marilyn R. Hancock, 87, died May 10, 2018, at Mercy Health - St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima. Marilyn was born Dec. 8, 1930, in Lima. On Aug.18, 1952, she married Alexander Hancock who preceded her in death on Dec. 25, 1998.
Marilyn graduated from Ada High School and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Pinochle Club and member of Beaverdam United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Bob (Beth) Hancock of Hamilton, Ohio, Bruce Hancock of Shawnee, Ohio; two daughters, Cheryl (David) Reichenbach of Bluffton, Linda (Kim) Delman of Missoula, Montana; nine grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; a sister, Nancy (Ralph) VanMeter of Bluffton and a brother, Richard (Sue) Baker of Daytona Beach, Florida.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents Louis and Lucille (Condon) Baker and two sisters, Diane Barnes and Gloria Miller.
Services will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, May 14, at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Bluffton. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Bluffton. Visitation will be Monday from 11 a.m. until time of the service at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Beaverdam-Richland Fire and Rescue Departments.
