JUST FOR KIDS: STREAM STROLL
Ottawa Metro Park-Amphitheatre, 2632 Ada Rd. Lima
1:00 – 2:30 p.m., Friday, August 4 and Saturday, August 5
Kids, ages 5-12, are invited to explore life in a creek. We will be searching the creek for clues of who lives there by using dip nets and hand lenses. Be prepared to get wet and muddy. Stewart Alan Graham was born February 10, 1939, in Nashville, Michigan and died on July 20, 2023, with his loving wife by his side. Stewart was president of Nashville W. K. Kellogg High School Class of 1957 and organized annual class reunions for his cherished classmates. After high school, he served in the Air National Guard of Michigan and the Reserve of the United States Air Force, where he first began to learn his lifelong trade as a printing professional.

Northwest Ohio – Wildlife District Two
During the spring walleye run, anglers travel from all over the country to catch their limit of fish. While working sportfishing enforcement along the Maumee River, State Wildlife Officer Nathan Robinson, assigned to Van Wert County, and State Wildlife Officer Ethan Bingham, assigned to Williams County, observed a group of anglers snag several walleye. The fish were placed on stringers and the anglers continued to fish. The officers contacted the anglers, confiscated the snagged fish, and issued multiple summonses for the violations.
In June, State Wildlife Officer Brock Williamson, assigned to Seneca County, attended a Cops and Bobbers event hosted by Crestline Police Department in Crawford County. Officer Williamson helped children cast and took fish off their hooks for release. All in attendance enjoyed smiles and laughs.
On Saturday, August 5, the Ada High School girls and boys soccer teams will be challenging team alumni to a game on the turf at War Memorial Stadium. Alumni are requested to wear white.
The girls game starts at 5:00 p.m. and the boys game starts at 7:00 p.m.
The Ada Exempted Village School will hold a Board of Education meeting with the attached agenda at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 27, in the boardroom at 725 W. North Ave.
