Priscilla Dysert Ochier, 1940 - 2018
Priscilla June (Dysert) Ochier, age 77, died on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 10:39 a.m. at Lima Memorial Hospital.
She was born June 25, 1940 to Claude and Della (Hall) Gullett, who preceded her in death. Priscilla first married Calvin L. Dysert, and he died in 1989. She then married Millard E. “Midge” Ochier, and he died in 2010.
Priscilla was a cook at Ada Schools for many years. She was also a volunteer at Lima Memorial Health System for over 30 years. She was a member of the McGuffey Church of Christ. Priscilla was an avid bowler and enjoyed playing cards. She also loved watching her grandchildren’s sporting events.
Surviving are two sons: Greg Dysert and Kenneth (Bridgette) Dysert, both of Ada; six grandchildren: Heather Dysert, Brooke (Jason) Carter, Kendra Dysert, Kara (Curtis) Drees, Zac Dysert, and Brandon (Paige) Dysert; five great grandchildren: Lilah, Lucy, Kamdyn, Grayson, and Collins; and a sister: Marilyn King of Kenton.
She was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law: Carla Dysert; and a sister: Carolyn Risner.
Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 22, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada with Pastor Jacob Huber officiating. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery, Alger.
Friends may call from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Monday, May 21, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the McGuffey Church of Christ.
