BLUFFTON – The visiting Ada High School varsity baseball squad lost to 9-0 local rival Bluffton in a Northwest Conference battle Thursday evening, April 13.
Ada fell to 2-5 overall and 0-3 in the NWC with the defeat. Bluffton improved to 5-4 overall and 2-0 in the league after the win.
BLUFFTON–The visiting Ada High School softball team defeated local rival Bluffton 6-2 in a Northwest Conference game Thursday evening, April 13.
The Ada girls record improved to a sparkling 10-1 overall after the win. The purple and gold stayed in first place in the NWC at 3-0 with the convincing victory, tied with perennial power Crestview.
The Pirate girls fell to 5-6 overall and 1-1 in the NWC with the loss.

Prices for 2023 are $40 per scoop for Brown or Black Velvet Mulch, $20 delivery to an Ada Address, and $30 delivery to surrounding areas.
Proceeds go to the Ada High School scholarship program. The Lions note, "We would like to thank everyone in advance for supporting this very worthy cause." In 2022 the Lions scholarship award marked over $100,000 given since 2000.
For a recipient of a regional 2023 Jefferson Award and someone who earned Eagle Scout rank in spring 2022, Ada resident Aaron Spar is pretty matter of fact about his accomplishments. But as a scout with Down Syndrome, he is an exceptional individual in an elite group and has been spotlighted across area media.
