Christina A Williams, 1931 - 2018
Christina A. Williams, age 86, died on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at 1:57 p.m. at Lima Memorial Health System.
She was born on December 24, 1931 in Floyd County, Kentucky to the late Willard and Rebecca (Patton) Bailey. On August 25, 1947 Christina married Ned L. Williams, they celebrated 56 years together. Ned preceded her in death on April 8, 2003.
Christina was a member of the Maysville United Methodist Church. She taught Sunday school, led Bible studies and was President of the Ladies Missionary Circle. Christina served as the secretary/treasurer for the Sunday school for over thirty years.
She is survived by two sons: David (Kathy) Williams of Hilliard and Dan (Terri) Williams of Harrod; four grandchildren: Amy Wannamacher, Jason Lee, Jennifer (Abe) Babcock and Kenny (Jessika) Williams; numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Juanita Bailey of Myakka City, FL; and a niece, Jean Marie (Castle) Morrow of Cincinnati.
She was preceded in death by her two brothers, Roger “Bill” Bailey, Willard Bailey and sister, Geraldine Castle.
Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 5, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada with Pastor Thomas Dearth officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ada.
Friends may call two hours prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 5, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Putnam County Homecare and Hospice at 575 Ottawa-Glandorf Road #3, Ottawa, Ohio 45875.
