Frances M Clark, 1924 - 2018
Frances M. (Ford) Clark, age 94, died on Friday, June 1, 2018 at 11:55 a.m. at Lima Memorial Health System.
She was born on March 8, 1924 in Roundhead, Ohio to William and Maggie (Lowery) Ford and they preceded her in death. On April 12, 1941 she married Wilber Eugene “Gene” Clark and he died on August 14, 2007.
Fran was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Ada. She was a member of the American Legion Women’s Auxiliary Post #185 of Ada. Fran was a member of the Ada Junior Civic League.
Surviving are two sons: Gary E. (Shirley) Clark of Sebring, FL, and Randall L. (Emma) Clark of Ada; ten grandchildren: Bryan (Julie) Clark, Todd Clark, Greg Clark, Diana Wiseley, Tom Sanders, Amy (Mike) Forest, Wendy (Mike) Plybon, Kelly (Shane) Wright, Heath (Angie) Clark and Kristin (Basil) Dean; and fourteen great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Dennis Clark; two sisters: Hazel Patrick and Esta Bartlett; and a brother, Gernie Ford.
Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 7, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada with Rev. Patrick Allen officiating. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery, Alger.
Friends may call on Wednesday, June 6, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada and one hour prior to the service Thursday, June 7.
