3 Ada HS athletes in Down Under games
Photos and story by Jami Dellifield
Ada High School athletes (Abbie James, Nora Dellifield, Miguel Jordan) pose with their Down Under Sports Team, Kangaroos and Coach C, at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary in Queensland, Australia.
In the second photo, Abbie and Miguel warm up with other USA middle distance athletes on July 12.
In the third photo, Nora Dellifield warms up pole vault.
The three will practice for three days and compete over three days, with some Australia sight seeing built in to the 10-day trip. Dellifield ( pole vault), Jordan (400m, 800m, 4X400 relay), and James (800m, 1600m, 4X800) were invited to participate based on their successful track seasons.
