It's a pre-season festival.
The Made in Ada Wilson Football Festival, concluding with a football drop moved from Super Bowl Eve to the NLF preseason this year.
The third festival took place on Saturday and, despite a rainy start, ended with a large crowd in a festive mood in the Ada railroad depot park.
The Icon will post festival photos throughout the week. We start things off with the conclusion and will work backward. Here's Monty Siekerman's photos of the festival as the evening headed to the football drop countdown.

The Shawn Christopher era as head coach of the Ada football program got off to a great start last Friday night as the Bulldogs defeated rival Upper Scioto Valley 30-16. First-year Sophomore quarterback Brandon Hull accounted for three scores in the win, which moved Ada to 1-0 on the season.
The Bulldogs got on the board early when dual-threat QB Hull capped a solid 61-yard drive with a 27-yard quarterback keeper. The extra point attempt was no good, leaving Ada with a 6-0 lead with just under ten minutes to play in the first quarter.
