Bulldogs in close NWC golf match

LIMA - Spencerville edged Lincolnview and Paulding in a four-team Northwest Conference golf match including Ada at Tamarac Golf Course in Lima Wednesday.
The undefeated Bearcats won with 168 strokes, three shots ahead of the Lancers (171) and 10 up on Paulding (178). Ada shot 234.
Brevin Sizemore led the Bulldogs with a nine-hole score of 56. Rob Allison shot 57 and Alex Morgan carded a 59 while Austin Amburgey added a 62.
Ada's Jake Colwell shot 63 and Ethan Hull posted a 58.
Gavin Harmon of the Bearcats (12-0, 7-0 NWC) was match medalist with a score of 36 to nose out Lincolnview's Jaden Youtseyn, who shot a 38.
Paulding is 2-3 (0-2 NWC) and Lincolnview is now 3-3 (1-2 NWC).
Ada (1-12, 1-6 NWC) plays at Sycamore Springs Golf Course Thursday, August 16 against Riverdale.
Tee time is set for 4:30 p.m.
