Larry E. Dyer 1949 - 2018
Larry E. Dyer, age 69, died on Saturday, August11, 2018 at 2:55 p.m. at the OSU Wexner Medical Center, Columbus, Ohio.
He was born June 7, 1949 in Lima to the late Edwin A. and Edith M. (Furnish) Dyer. On June 30, 1972 he married Patricia A. Wireman and she survives in Waynesfield.
Also surviving are his daughter: Janie Dyer of Waynesfield, his granddaughter: Rachael (Levi) Jasper of Waterville, Ohio and great grandchildren: Noah and Lilly Jasper and his brother: Mike E. (Lori) Dyer of Alger.
He was preceded in death by a granddaughter: Amber Jane Snyder and by his 2 brothers: Terry L. Dyer and David Dyer and his sister: Stella Jane Gross.
Larry formerly worked at Superior Coach of Lima and Tom Ahl Buick of Lima. He attended the McGuffey Freewill Baptist Church; he was a member and former president of the McGuffey Conservation Club. Larry attended Upper Scioto Valley High School. He was a coach in Waynesfield for the T-Ball Team and Girls’ Softball Team. He loved his daughter, his granddaughter and 2 great grandchildren and many friends.
Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 15, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Alger with Pastor David Trusty officiating. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery, Alger, Ohio.
Friends may call from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 14, and 1 hour prior to the service on Wednesday at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Alger, Ohio.
