Roscoe J Dearth, 1946 - 2018
Roscoe J. Dearth, age 71, died on Friday, August 24, 2018 at 5:35 a.m. at Vancrest of Ada.
He was born December 2, 1946 in Lima, Ohio to the late Clarence J. and Mary E. (Haley) Dearth.
Roscoe was a 1965 graduate of Ada High School and attended Ohio Northern University. Roscoe formerly worked for the Ada Water & Sewer Department and local contractor Karlton Plaugher. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran who served during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Ada VFW Post #9381 and the NRA.
Surviving are a brother: Bruce Dearth of Phoenix, AZ; a sister: Alice Wagner of Circleville; two uncles: Phillip Merriman of Lima and John (Karan) Haley of Greenbrook, NJ; an aunt: Edna Grensing of Las Vegas, NV; two nephews: Jason (Rachel) Wagner of Pittsburgh, PA and Justin (Inocencia) Wagner of Chillicothe; and several great nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will held at a later date. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ada.
