Ada Schools now part of Tip Line
The Ada Exempted Village Schools has registered with the Safer Schools Ohio Tip Line.
Research shows that most threats to schools have clues that are missed or ignored. Students and parents have more access to social media of students than schools do.
The Safer Schools Ohio Tip Line is manned by Homeland Security and Law Enforcement professionals trained to quickly assess a threat and to contact and work with school administrators and local law enforcement/county Sheriff/School Resource Officers.
The tip line can be used to report anything suspicious or endangering to students, their friends, or their school.
Tip line number can be texted or called at 844-SAFEROH, or 844-723-3764.
All should be should be reminded that initiating a false alarm (or inducing a panic via a false report) is a violation of the school code of conduct and may be a crime.
