Bulldog harriers run at Grove Invite

COLUMBUS GROVE - The Ada cross country team competed in the tough Columbus Grove Invitational Saturday.
Host Grove won the boys small school division team title, finishing first among the 21-team field with 53 points. Lincolnview took second with 93 points.
Ada finished last with 497 points. The top Bulldog finish was posted by senior Miguel Jordan, who came in 39th with a time of 18:30.9.
Noah Fisher of Ayersville won the boys small school race in 15:37.03.
Columbus Grove also won the girls team title, edging second-place Woodmore 85-92. Lincolnview took third in the 16-team girls field. Ada, along with five other teams represented at the meet, does not have enough girls runners to field a team.
Alyssa Ellerbrock of Grove won the girls small school race in a school-record time of 18:52.21.
New Haven (In.) won the boys large school division title, and Minster captured the girls large school crown.
