The Ohio Northern women's tennis team will open its 2013-14 season on Sept. 11 at St. Francis (Ind.) at 3 pm.
The Polar Bears will also participate in the Oberlin Invitational on Sept. 13-15 and the ITA Central Region Championships from Sept. 20-22 in their fall season.
Northern opens its spring campaign on Feb. 1 with a visit to regional foe Kalamazoo (Mich.) at 9 am.
The Polar Bears will take on Eastern (Pa.) on Mar. 2, St. Benedict (Minn.) on Mar. 3 and Moravian (Pa.) on Mar. 4 on their annual Spring Break trip to Tampa, Fla.
The OAC season begins on Mar. 22 when Northern travels to Heidelberg for a 1 pm match.
It's not exactly a surprise, but now we have data. According to the Pew Research Center's biennial media attitudes survey, the internet is now the leading source of national and international news for Americans under age 50.
And the younger you are, the more likely you'll turn to the internet first for news.

Clayton "Ted" Stephens, age 75, died on Sunday, August 18, 2013 at 8:40 p.m. at his residence in Linthicum Heights, MD.
He was born on September 15, 1937 in Magoffin County, Kentucky to Ed and Leatha (Howard) Stephens and they preceded him in death. On June 26, 1960 he married Brenda Collett and she survives in Linthicum Heights, MD.
Ted retired as an electrical engineering manager from Northrop Grumman Co. Annapolis, Maryland. He was a member of the Linthicum Heights United Methodist Church. Ted was a 1956 graduate of Hardin Northern High School and a 1960 graduate of Ohio Northern University College of Engineering.
