Women’s soccer wins again
The Ohio Northern women's soccer team completed the non-conference portion of its schedule with a 2-0 victory over Wittenberg at Kerscher Stadium on Tuesday night.
The Polar Bears have won six straight matches, improving to 6-2-0 on the season. The Tigers fall to 2-5-2.
Sophomore Jenna Fuller (Countryside, Ill./Lyons Township) netted two goals to lead the Polar Bears. She has now scored in five consecutive matches, with eight goals in that span.
Junior goalie Meagan Grierson (Miamisburg) saved the lone Wittenberg shot on goal to earn her 26th career shutout.
Grierson and the Polar Bears have not conceded a goal at Kerscher Stadium in 884 minutes, a span of more than eight matches and dating back to November 1, 2017.
