Ada's Reyes voted tops in NWC; Garmon 1st team

DELPHOS - Ada senior boys soccer ace Christopher Reyes was voted league Player of the Year and first team All-Northwest Conference in balloting conducted by the league coaches at Delphos recently.
High-scoring forward Reyes led the Bulldogs in goals scored and repeated as a first team all-league selection. Classmate defender Noah Garmon, who made first team All-NWC in 2017, was also a repeat selection this fall.
Bulldog senior defender Jacob Okuly and junior midfielders Skylar Williams and Isaac Spar were each voted second team All-NWC.
Ada sophomore midfielder/forward Jacob Poling was named honorable mention all-league.
Bluffton's Steve Smucker was voted NWC Coach of the Year for the fourth time in a row after leading the Pirates to a fourth consecutive league title at 5-0. Ada finished second in the six-team league standings at 4-1.
Allen East came in third at 3-2. Mustang junior Bryce Wilcox and senior Christian Hedrick were voted first team All-NWC.
AE seniors Dalton Clum and Dalton Clum were named second team all-league, along with sophomore teammate Braelin Houston.
AE junior Ethan Reichenbach was named honorable mention all-conference.
