Arnita D Shepherd, 1942 - 2018
Arnita D. Shepherd, age 75, formerly of Alger, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, October 18, 2018 in Waco, Texas.
She was born on November 13, 1942 in McGuffey, Ohio to the late Freelon and Grace Ann (Johnson) Gullett. On January 27, 1962 Arnita married Lowell James Shepherd and he preceded her in death on March 12, 1999.
S\urviving are three sons: Jim (Jane) Shepherd of Alger, Wes Shepherd of Ada and Jesse (Tammy) Shepherd of Sidney; two daughters: Jennifer (Ron) Chase of Corpus Cove, TX and Barbara Kindle of Lima; thirteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren; a brother, Gayland Gullett of Lima; four sisters: Karen Murray of Dallas, TX, Cheryl Sammet of Upper Sandusky, Freda Scott of Columbus and Barbara (Kenneth) Manns of Kenton; and a sister-in-law, JoAnn Gullett of Roundhead.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Gullett and two sisters: Naomi Gullett and Elaine Stuckey.
Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 26, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Alger with Rev. Anthony Krummrey officiating. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery, Alger.
Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 25, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Alger and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Friday.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
