Bulldog boys down Bearcats, finish 2nd in NWC

ADA - The Ada boys soccer team won a makeup match at Northwest Conference foe Spencerville by a 5-3 count on Saturday in the regular season finale.
The Bulldog boys improved to 9-6-1 overall and 4-1 in NWC play with the victory, while the Bearcats fell to 2-11-1 with the defeat.
Ada finished second in the six-team league standings, behind only defending champion Bluffton (5-0). The Pirates have won four straight NWC boys soccer crowns.
Allen East finished third in the NWC at 3-2, while Spencerville and Lincolnview tied for fourth at 1-3-1. Paulding came in last at 0-6.
Bulldog senior Chris Reyes tallied three goals and dished out one assist to lead the Bulldog offense in the win at Spencerville.
Skylar Williams and Jon Allen each contributed a goal and one assist. Junior Isaac Spar passed out a pair of assists.
Bulldog junior keeper Drew Hadley was credited with six saves in goal.
Ada visits Oak Harbor in first round Div. III sectional play Monday, October 15. The winner advances to play at Willard October 17.
