Bulldog boys nip rival Mustangs

HARROD - The Ada boys soccer team shut out backyard rival Allen East 1-0 in a defensive battle Tuesday night in Harrod.
With the win, the Bulldog boys improved to 8-5-1 overall and pulled into a second-place tie with AE at 3-1 in NWC play. The Mustangs are 4-5-3 overall.
Bluffton is first in the league at 4-0.
Bulldog junior Isaac Spar scored the game's only goal on an assist from senior Chris Reyes.
Ada junior keeper Drew Hadley made six saves in goal to post the shutout.
The Bulldogs host Upper Sandusky Thursday at 5 p.m. in the regular season finale.
