Bulldog Light named 1st team spiker

DELPHOS - Ada sophomore middle blocker/hitter Megan Light was voted first team All-Northwest Conference in balloting conducted by the league coaches at Delphos recently.
The 5-11 Light topped Ada in kills and blocks this season as the Lady Bulldogs finished fifth in the nine-team NWC.
Ada senior libero Morgan Swick and junior setter Sidney Gossard were voted honorable mention all-league. Gossard led Ada in assists and aces, while Swick was tops in digs.
Paulding sophomore Sadie Estle was voted the 2018 Northwest Conference Player of The Year. Tammy Gregory was named NWC Coach of the Year after leading Crestview to a league co-championship with Columbus Grove at 7-1.
Lincolnview and Paulding tied for second in the league at 6-2. Allen East finished in sixth place at 3-5, one spot behind Ada at 4-4.
Mustang senior Summer McCloskey was named second team all-league. AE junior Anamya Truex, senior Alex Briley and senior Grace Howard were named honorable mention all-league.
