Have your candy? Have your mask?
Here’s the roundup of Halloween activities in Ada next week:
• Monday, Oct. 22, Ada Kiwanis registration at 5:30 p.m. behind the city building; parade to Depot begins at 6 p.m., many prizes for best costumes, a big deal in this town.
• Tuesday, Oct. 23, registration begins at 5 p.m. in McIntosh Center activities room, small groups visit residence halls, dinner at 6 p.m. in McIntosh ballroom. Lots of candy in a short time.
• Thursday, Oct. 25, Village of Ada trick or treat, from 5:30-7:30 as proclaimed by the mayor. The library and fire department are popular stops. Residents of Vancrest will be handing out candy, too, so don’t forget to stop by and visit them and fill your bag with goodies.
The weather looks good for the week’s activities with low temps in the mid 30s to daytime temps in the mid 50s, with little chance of rain (or snow).
