Lucinda Ann Basso, 1971 - 2018
Lucinda Ann Basso passed from this life on Thursday, October 18th, at 8:25 a.m. at Seasons Hospice, Miami Jewish Medical Center in Miami, Florida after surviving 15 years with Central Nervous System (CNS) Vasculitis. She was 47 years old.
Cindy as she was known to her family and friends was the daughter of Rev. Walter Wilson, Jr. and Judith Ann (Jump) Powers born to them in Kenton, Ohio on August 24, 1971. On June 25, 2000, Cindy was united in marriage with Martin Basso in Jacksonville, Florida and shortly thereafter moved to Doral, Florida. In 2003, the couple moved to Louisville, Kentucky and returned to Doral in 2009 where they have lived since.
Cindy attended the Ohio State University and had a career in banking, mortgage and real estate.
She is survived by her spouse, mother and two sisters, Deborah Duffy of Portsmouth, Virginia and Charity Clum of Ada, Ohio. Cindy’s father preceded her to Heaven on September 25, 2013.
A celebration of Cindy's life will be held on Monday, October 22, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the Hanson-Neely Funeral Home in Alger, Ohio followed by burial at the nearby Preston Cemetery, Alger.
