From spacemen to grave diggers
Photos and story by Monty Siekerman
Sixty degree weather brought out many ghosts and goblins on Monday evening for the annual Halloween parade and costume contest sponsored by the Ada Kiwanis Club.
There were groups, individuals, and dogs dressed from spacemen to grave diggers, gruesome and ghoulish, to sweet and adorable. The Kiwanis Club handed out many awards to costume winners in numerous categories and age groups.
The entourage assembled at the City Building parking lot, then headed east for a block to the Depot Railroad Park for announcement of the winners. The Ada High School Band and Flag Corps led the way. Cookies and cider were available for all of those assembled after the awards ceremony.
