Who will win the McTeachers Night contest? Ada or Upper Scioto Valley?
USV teachers and staff served many customers during a two-hour period last week. Ada’s turn was Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. at Ada McDonald’s.
From casual observance, USV had more customers lined up at 5 p.m. But, Ada customers began flowing in the door shortly after 5 o’clock. The winner is determined by which school had the most sales during a two-hour slot.
Did Ada catch up? It will be hard to beat USV because they set a record of more than $1,000 in sales during one of their two hours. Did Ada do better, or come on strong during the second hour? The Ada Icon will report the results when all is tallied. Stay tuned.
Both school systems win because each receives a portion of the sales. The winning school gets a bonus. USV won last year, taking home $1,000. Ada received a check for $700.
Elementary Principal Ben Thaxton announced in a video on Ada Bulldogs Facebook that “ADA WINS McTEACHERS NIGHT THIS YEAR!”
