2nd Border Battle hosted by Ada Dec. 27-29

ADA - The second annual four-team Border Battle holiday basketball tournaments will be held December 27-29 at Ada High School.
The event will feature competition between the varsity boys and girls teams from Ada, Allen East, Waynesfield-Goshen and Upper Scioto Valley.
The tournaments cover three days, and eight total games will be conducted on the following days with these matchups:
Thursday, December 27th: Girls semifinals
Varsity Girls – 6 p.m. Allen East vs. Waynesfield-Goshen
8 p.m. Ada vs. USV
Friday, December 28th: Boys semifinals
Varsity Boys – 6 p.m. Allen East vs. Waynesfield-Goshen
8 p.m. Ada vs. USV
Saturday, December 29th
Varsity Girls – 12 p.m. Consolation game
Varsity Boys – 2 p.m. Consolation game
Varsity Girls – 6 p.m. Championship game
Varsity Boys 8 p.m. Championship game
AE defeated Ada in the inaugural girls title game last year at Waynesfield, while USV won the boys team crown.
The tourney is presented by Block Insurance Agency, in conjunction with Lima Memorial Hospital.
