Denison University student Ben Bowers from Ada was chosen as a 2018 summer research scholar. Bowers is one of 131 students who spent their summer conducting in-depth research projects at Denison or off-campus. The faculty-led programs include undertakings in the sciences, humanities, social sciences and the arts.

Bowers worked with Professor Erik Klemetti on a project titled: "Unearthing the History of the Geoscience Department at Denison University."
