Leaf pickup - yes, it all depends upon the weather
By Monty Siekerman
Leaf pickup in Ada is in full swing.
Members of the village street department follow the schedule (below) as best as possible depending on the weather. Leaves have fallen later this year and the cold, wet weather has kept some homeowners from raking the leaves to the curb.
Hopefully, residents will have the leaves raked and the village will have them picked up by the first week of December.
The village is divied into four sections. Here are the regularlly scheduled remaining leaf pickups:
• Northwest - District A
Mondays: Remaining pickup date Nov. 26
• Northeast - District B
Tuesdays: Remaining pickup date Nov. 27
•Southeast - District C
Wednesdays - Remaining pick up date Nov. 28
• Southwest - District D
Thursdays - Remaining pickup date Nov. 29
Persons with questions contatct the village water office at 419-634-4045 between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. weekdays.
