30 degree temps...30 mph wind gusts...and ONU students went swimmin' on Saturday morning...all for a good cause. Delta Sigma Phi, who sponsored the 7th annual Polar Plunge at the lake in Fraternity Circle, hoped to raise $1,500 for the American Red Cross. The Ada/Liberty Ambulance and Ada/Liberty Fire Department ice rescue team were in hand to provide safety. Heaters in a tent were welcome by those who took the dive. People sponsored the swimmers, with the money raised then given to the Red Cross. (Monty Siekerman photos)
