New electric lines installation underway
By Monty Siekerman
Ada War Memorial Park will have all-new electric lines by late spring or early summer thanks to voters who approved two park levies two years ago.
Work is beginning on the $120,000 project which will provide all new lines, panel boxes, conduit, and poles to the grove area (not the stadium).
he improved electric will service nine shelters and provide panel boxes with outlets for special occasions, such as the F & M Picnic when food vendors and amusements need to hook up.
Preliminary work is being done at the present time with the project slated to be completed after winter. It is estimated that an average of 2,000 people a day use the park.
