Student art and design exhibition opens
Ohio Northern University presents student art and design exhibition
The Ohio Northern University Department of Art and Design will hold its Student Showcase Exhibition in the Elzay Gallery of Art from Nov. 26 — Dec. 7. A reception and awards presentation will be held Thurs., Dec. 6 from 4–6 p.m.
The exhibition features work created over the past several months by undergraduate students at all levels, most of whom are focusing on a degree in the visual arts and others majoring in a range of other disciplines who are exploring the arts through a minor.
The art & design faculty selected this year’s work from a variety of courses including foundations drawing, 3D design, graphic and advertising design, painting, book arts, and ceramics.
Admission to the Elzay Gallery of Art is free and open to the public, daily from 1 to 4:30 p.m. while school is in session.
