Brittani Ann Shields 1989 - 2018
Heaven’s angels are receiving a very special child today. Brittani Ann Shields, age 28, died on Friday, November 30, 2018 at 5:43 p.m. at her residence in Springfield, Ohio.
She was born December 5, 1989 in Lima, Ohio to Larry G. Shields and Annette (DeLong) Shields, also cared for and loved by Bradley Pope. Her father survives in Roundhead and her mother and daddy Bradley Pope survive in Springfield.
She attended the Alger Assembly of God Church. She graduated from Simon Kenton School in 2011. She touched many lives and was a blessing to her caregivers, teachers, and friends. She had a smile that will be sadly missed by all who knew her………Rest in peace my angel.
Surviving are two brothers: Larry Gene (Laura) Shields, Jr. and Adam Kyle Shields; Maternal Grandmother: Patricia DeLong of DeGraff, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by Paternal Grandparents: Johnny Ray Shields and Lillian Ann Shields and Maternal Grandfather: Earl DeLong.
Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 5, at the Alger Assembly of God Church, Alger with David Holbrook and Pastor Mark Andreasen officiating. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery, Alger, Ohio.
Friends may call from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 4, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Alger and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the Church.
In lieu of flowers memorial contribution can be made to Cross Roads Hospice and Palliative Care, 8069 Washington Village Drive, Dayton, Ohio 45458.
