Dr. Francis "Frank" Williams 1927 - 2018
Dr. Francis S. “Frank” Williams, age 91, died on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at 3:00 a.m. at Vancrest of Ada, OH.
He was born on February 10, 1927 in Norway, Michigan to W.H. Errol and Florence (Grubb) Williams who preceded him in death. On August 25, 1951 Frank married Wilhelmina “Miney” Beck and she died on February 11, 2013.
Frank was a dentist and a member of the American Dental Association. Frank was a proud member of the First United Methodist Church of Ann Arbor. He was a member of the Ann Arbor American Legion Post #46. He was a U.S. Navy veteran serving in WWII. Frank was a devoted husband and a loving father and grandfather. He spent his later years committed to the care of his wife.
Surviving are a son, Steven (Linda) Williams of Indianapolis, IN; two daughters: Nancy (John) Williams Shuffle of Ada, OH and Susan (Mary Celley) Williams of Brooklyn, WI; five grandchildren; and a brother: George (Scottie) Williams of Saginaw, MI.
Interment will take place at a later date in the First United Methodist Church Memorial Garden in Ann Arbor, MI.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association and/or the First United Methodist Church of Ann Arbor, MI.
