The Department of Theatre Arts at Ohio Northern University will present the Choreographers’ Showcase Spring Dance Performance onSaturday and Sunday,  Feb. 2 and Feb. 3, in the Freed Center for the Performing Arts. Performance times are 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 2, and 2 p.m. on Feb. 3.

This concert will be a celebration of 25 years of dance performances at ONU. In honor of this special occasion, the Department of Theatre Arts has invited dance and theatre alumni to participate in the event.

Both on- and off-campus Ohio-based choreographers are involved in the creation of the dances. A variety of dance styles and techniques will be showcased by current ONU dance students and alumni.

As part of the special celebration, a Day of Dance workshop for high school students will be held Feb. 2.

The event is being funded in part by Ohio Northern University’s Committee for Cultural and Special Events.Tickets are $20 for adults, $10 for senior citizens, and $5 for students and children and are available at the Freed Center box office during business hours.
