Alger Public Library sets 2019 plans
Kathy Herfurth, Alger Public Library director, announced new hours and events for the library. Those follow:
Weekday morning hours will begin on Monday, Jan. 14 at 10 a.m. Library hours will now be:
Monday and Wednesday, 10 a.m.-7 p.m.
Tuesday and Thursday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
Friday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
Saturday, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
Weekly library activities for kids at the library include:
• Preschool Story Times, Mondays at 6:30 p.m.
• After School Activity Clubs for schoo-Aage kids and teens, Wednesdays, drop in between 4:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. for art, science, cooking, Legos or games.
Monthly activities for adults include:
• Coloring or Bring You Own Craft, Thursday, Jan.10 at 6 p.m.
• Book Club, Tuesday, Jan. 15 at 6 p.m.
