Liberty National participates in Welcome Home Program
Liberty National Bank will participate in the Welcome Home Program, a grant sponsored by the Federal Home Loan Bank of Cincinnati, announced Ronald L. Zimmerly, Jr., bank president and CEO.
The Welcome Home Program assists eligible homebuyers with down payment or closing costs when purchasing or buying a home.
It provides up to $5,000 in grant money for low to moderate income homebuyers and is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
New this year to the program: Honorably discharged veterans and active duty military homebuyers may receive Welcome Home grants up to $7,500.
The Welcome Home funds will be available starting March 1, and will end when the money is no longer available. In addition to the grant money, Liberty National Bank is waiving one-half of the processing fee for approved first-time home buyers that qualify for the grant in 2019.
Persons interested in qualification guidelines or additional information should contact Angela Hersh at 419-634-5015.
