Lots of catching up at Ada schools
There’s lots of catching up to do in Ada schools due to a week of weather delays and cancellations.
Here’s some news from the Ada school website:
Congratulations: To Robyn who won the Elks Patriotism Contest for grades 7 and 8. Her essay will now be judged at the District level for a chance to go on to the Elks State Competition.
Middle school math team: The Middle School math team will have a makeup practice on Tuesday, Jan. 29, at 7:45 a.m. in Mrs. Thaxton's room.
Students in grades 6-8 should bring their money for Pennies for Patients to their Advisory teacher on Monday.
Make-up game: The makeup date for our JV/Varsity girls game with Ridgemont is Feb 4.
Varsity Singers in Findlay: Varsity Singers compete in Winter Fest at Findlay HS on Saturday. This weekend is the closest competition to come watch. Ada performs at 1 p.m.
Open gyms for high school softball players will begin Sunday from 3-5 p.m. in the HS gym. Open gym will continue every Sunday until the beginning of the season.
Saturday: Biddy Tournament starting at 8 a.m., Biddy Tournament last games start at 11:15 a.m. - Last 2 games played in 86” gym, JH Boys at 1 p.m. (Kenton) HS gym and Varsity boys at 6 p.m. against Kenton.

Jan. 29: 2-Hour early dismissal due to staff professional development meeting
