Mary K. Vermillion 1921 - 2019
Mary K. Vermillion, 97, died on Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2019, at 10:14 a.m. at her son’s residence in Ada.
She was born on April 23, 1921, in Hardin County, Ohio, to the late Jesse and Rebecca (Jenkins) Warren. On Sept. 14, 1940, Mary married Frank C. Vermillion and he preceded her in death on July 21, 1998.
Mary previously worked for North Electric of Kenton for 13 years. She attended the Church on The Rock of Kenton.
She is survived by her son, Tom Vermillion of Ada; three grandchildren: Keith (Trudi) Vermillion of Ada, Jeffrey Vermillion of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and Beth (Chad) Walker of Kingsville, Texas; five great-grandchildren: Steven Vermillion, Joseph “Joey” Vermillion, Kimberly Walker, Samuel Walker, and Savannah Walker; and two great-great-grandchildren: Leon Diaz and Lana Walker.
Mary was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Linda Vermillion; a granddaughter, Kendra Kay Vermillion; two brothers, Thoman Warren and J. Richard Warren; and a sister, Martha Peck.
Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 26, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada with Pastor Trent Boedicker officiating. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery, Alger.
Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 25, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada, and one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Grace Gospel Church, Ada.
