Ada tennis wins opening scrimmage

ADA - The Ada tennis team won a scrimmage match tune-up handily over visiting Toledo Whitmer 5-1 at the Ohio Northern University Marmon courts on Tuesday evening.
Ada swept all four singles matches in straight sets by a combined total of 48 games to five, and also won the first doubles match.

1) Dexter Woods (A) defeated Dane Dryer (TW) 6-1, 6-0
2) Hunter Wells (A) def. Eric Cook (TW) 6-3, 6-0
3) Reece Evans (A) def. Trenton Murry (TW) 6-0, 6-0
4) Morgan Swick (A) def. Jonathan Sugg (TW) 6-1, 6-0
Doubles
1) Logan Conrad/Gabe Hasan (A) def. Dane Dryer/Trenton Murry (TW) 6-3
2) Eric Cook/Jonathan Sugg (TW) def. R. Evans/Kendal Guagenti (A) 6-2.
The Bulldogs open their regular season Saturday at Div. I power Centerville, the hometown of Cody Hurley, their first-year head coach.
