Hardin Crime Task Force makes three arrests
The Hardin County Crime Task Force made two arrests arising from two traffic stops on March 13. The Task Force also made one arrest on March 18. Details of those arrests follow:
The first stop was in the 4000 block of County Road 60. It resulted in the arrest of a woman found to be in possession of 39 hits of heroin.
She has been charged with possession of heroin and trafficking in heroin.
The second stop occurred near the intersection of State Route 67 and County Road 75. There a man was arrested for the possession of and trafficking in Fentanyl. More than 8 grams of Fentanyl were confiscated.
The Task Force was assisted by the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office Kenton Police Department and Osborn Towing.
On March 18, following an investigation into the manufacturing of Methamphetamine, the Task Force executed a search warrant at 103 E. Wagner St., Alger.
One man was arrested for the illegal assembly and possession of chemicals for manufacturing of drugs.
Charges are pending on another man found at the residence.
The Task Force was assisted at the scene by the sheriff’s office, Osborn Towing and agents from the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation and Identification.
The Hardin County Crime Task Force is comprised of personnel from the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office, The Kenton Police Department, Ada Police Department and the Hardin County Prosecutor’s Office.
The Task Force combines resources, equipment, manpower and information in an effort to – including but not limited to, combat criminal activity, organized criminal activity and illegal drugs in Hardin County.
