Helen Hadding was retired from Rudolph Food
Helen M. Hadding, 82, died on Monday, March 25, 2019 at 12:08 p.m. at her residence in Lima.
She was born on Feb. 26, 1937, in McGuffey, Ohio, to the late Neal and Marie Ella (Gates) Legge. Helen married Arthur C. Hadding, Jr on March 17, 1953, and he preceded her in death in February 2015.
Helen retired in 1999 from Rudolph Food in Westminster.
She is survived by a son, Cliff (Marisa) Hadding of Harrod; two daughters: Patricia Crisp of Lima and Arleen Lawson of St. Petersburg, Fla.; eight grandchildren: Donald C. (Caroline) Dawson, Heather (Ryan) Moran, Jared Hadding, Debra Lawson, Shawn W. Lawson, Scharonda (George) Coleman, Yalanda Denson and Willie “PJ” Denson; 22 great grandchildren; and a niece, Mary Lou Fraley.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Beverly Dawson in 2007; a son-in-law, Eric Lawson; a grandson, Eric G. Lawson; four sisters: Ruth Weis, Marguerite Benjamin, Mary Mulholland, Effie Williams; and five brothers: Max, Charlie, Milard, Robert, and Harry Legge.
Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 29, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Alger with Rev. Dr. Timothy White officiating.
Burial will be in Auglaize Cemetery, Harrod. Friends may call two hours prior to the service from 9 to 11 a.m. on Friday, March 29, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Alger.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Lima First Missionary Church, 1105 W. Robb Avenue, Lima, Ohio 45801.
