Patricia Allen 1936-2019
Patricia P. Allen, 82, died on Thursday, March 7, 2019, at 2:42 a.m. at Hardin Hills Health Center, Kenton.
She was born on May 8, 1936, in Lima, Ohio, to the late Joseph and Louise (Plummer) Thompson. On May 28, 1964, Patricia married Kash Allen and he survives in Alger.
Patricia was owner and operator of Allen’s Bar and Grill in Alger. She loved her cats and enjoyed gardening.
Also surviving is a son, David Allen of Alger; two daughters: Debbie (Ronald) Frazier of Ada and Julia (Steve) McClure of Alger; eight grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; and a sister, Jeannie Myers of Lansing, Mich.
Patricia was preceded in death by two sons: Joseph Lowry and George Lowry; a grandson, Matthew Lowry; and a sister, Cheryl Howard.
Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. on Monday, March 11, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Alger, with Rev. Calvin Waugh officiating. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery, Alger.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 10, at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Alger and until time of service on Monday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8517.
