Ada netters beat Van Wert

VAN WERT - The visiting Ada tennis team defeated another Western Buckeye League foe in Van Wert 3-2 Friday evening.
The Bulldog netters improved to 5-1 with their fourth straight win over a WBL squad this season. VW fell to 3-2 with the loss.
Ada swept all three singles matches in straight sets to post the win.
Cade Mullins and Isaac Spar each stayed perfect at 5-0 this season with their victories at first and second singles, respectively.
Miranda Wills improved her record to 5-1 with a win at third singles.

1) Nathan Ruger-Kaden Thomas (V) def. Gabe Hasan-Dexter Woods 6-0, 1-6, 6-3
2) Nick Carter-Jace Fast (V) def. Swick-Wells (A) 6-2, 6-0
Ada is slated to play at state power Lexington Saturday.
