SPENCERVILLE - The visiting Ada volleyball team swept Spencerville Tuesday night in a Northwest Conference mismatch.
The Lady Bulldog spikers snapped a two-match loss skid with the 25-11, 25-16, 25-17 victory. Ada improved to 11-9 overall and 4-2 in the NWC with two league matches left, both at home.
Spencerville fell to 4-11 and 0-5 in the NWC with the defeat.
Sophomore Megan Light knocked down 16 kills and added one block to lead the Ada hitters.
Junior setter Sidney Gossard passed out 35 assists and served four aces. Senior libero Morgan Swick mustered 11 digs and dealt a pair of aces.

BEREA — No. 17-ranked Ohio Northern fell 25-21, 26-24, 25-16 at Baldwin Wallace on Tuesday night at Ursprung Gymnasium.
The Polar Bears (12-4 overall, 2-1 Ohio Athletic Conference) were led by junior Chelsea Huppert (Bremen, Ind.) with 12 kills and two blocks and by junior McKenna Jordan(Toledo/Saint Ursula) with nine kills and a block.
The next event of the Ada Senior Citizens will be a tour of the Wilson football factory on Wednesday, Oct. 10. Plan to arrive at the factory by 11:30 a.m. The tour lasts approximately one hour. Wheelchairs and walkers are permitted. It is a walking and standing tour.

After the tour, the group will dine at East of Chicago.
The Oct. 24 meeting will be held at Community Health Professionals. The business meeting will begin at 12:30 p.m. followed by cards or other board games.
