Little Sparks: Goo Crew announces summer plans
Children (birth to Pre-K) and parents, grandparents, caregivers, or friends can participate in OSU Extension: Hardin’s Little Sparks: Goo Crew summer activities this summer.
Lil Sparks: Goo Crew offers adults and youth a variety of activities to encourage social-emotional, cognitive, physical and language development.
The program encourages intergenerational learning and a place for adults to learn more about child development.
The group meets every first and third Wednesday of the month from 10 – 11 a.m. at the Spark Lab in the Hardin County Extension Office unless noted.
The first meeting is June 15 at the Friendship Garden behind Simon Kenton School. The theme is Plant, Grow, Harvest.
On June 17, the theme is America. Participants are encouraged to wear their favorite red, white, and blue clothes.
On July 17, the meeting is at the splash pad at Murray Park.
On Aug. 7 the program is at the Spark Lab.
On Aug. 21 the program is colors.
On Sept. 4, the program is at the Hardin County Fair.
