Public library introduces Student Library Cards
The Ada Public Library is introducing Student Library Cards this month.
The cards allow children who do not already have a Juvenile card to check out books.
Student Card holders may check out up to five items and will be fine free. They will not be charged late fees or overdue fines. Any overdue or lost items will have to be returned or replaced, but, no late or overdue fees will accrue.
The goal of this new program is to encourage more youngsters to come and check out the library. The summer reading program kicks off at 10 a.m., Saturday, June 1.
According to the library, if your child already has a Juvenile card or you prefer to use your Ada Adult card, no action is necessary.
Forms are being sent home with Ada elementary students. You may also download the form by clicking here.
