Ohio Northern University student Colin Lombardi of Milan, Ohio, has been sworn in as president of the Student National Pharmaceutical Association (SNPhA).

 

The national organization represents more than 4,600 members and 92 chapters nationally, and its mission is to serve undeserved and promote minority student pharmacists. Lombardi, a fourth-year pharmacy major.

 

Beyond his academic pursuits, Lombardi is a former kicker on the ONU football team and a member of Phi Gamma Delta fraternity.

Ada Kroger grocery store was closed.

Leo Wright was the store manager. With the closing Ada was left with the Don Lehman Supermarket in the 100 block of North Main Street and the Claude Harris IGA Foodliner at the south limits of the village.

Doyle Paugh operates a neighborhood market at 411 South Main, and John Elwood Equity store at 225 North Main Street.

ONU freshman goalkeeper John Lombardo has received the Ohio Athletic Conference's Defensive Player of the Week award. The freshman netminder recorded his fifth and sixth consecutive victories with a pair of shutouts against Adrian (Mich.) and Marietta, last week.

ONU forward Jenna Fuller and goalkeeper Meagan Grierson  swept the OAC Women's Soccer Player of the Week honors this week..
