Cuts for a cause on Aug. 18 from 2-5 p.m.
Get your hair cut for a good cause by Redd Harris on Sunday, August 18, from 2 to 5 p.m. in the Hays Insurance parking lot. Donations should be $10 or more per cut, and all proceeds go to Ada's BOOTS for Bulldogs.
The BOOTS for Bulldogs is a drive by local mothers to increase safety and security to our school classrooms. The mothers heading up this are Kristin Purdy, Hillary Buxton, and Amanda Henson.
Simplicity is The BOOTS' strength. It can be put in place on a classroom door at a moment’s notice by anyone of any age.
So far, the drive has raised $26,055 of $44,000 needed to keep danger out and allow safety in.
For more information, go to BOOTS for Bulldogs Facebook page. For more about the company that sells the item, go to thelockdownco.com.
