Ada boys get 1st win

The Ada boys soccer team opened its Northwest Conference schedule with a 4-1 win over visiting Spencerville Saturday afternoon.
The Bulldogs improved to 1-2-1 overall with the victory, and are 1-0 in the NWC. The Bearcats fell to 1-1 and 0-1 in the NWC with the defeat.
Ada junior Jacob Poling led the offense by scoring two goals.
Isaac Williams contributed a goal and one assist
Senior Skyler Williams netted one goal, and classmate Isaac Spar dished out an assist.
Freshman Grant Preston was credited with five saves in goal for the Bulldogs.
Ada (1-0 NWC) hosts Paulding (0-3) Monday, August 26 at 5 p.m.
